Partner questions
Does it cost anything to join?
No. The program is free, with no quotas or minimums. Refer one practice or twenty.
Do I need to be a Saywell client?
No. Many partners are consultants, supervisors or practice-management pros who never use Saywell themselves. What matters is that you know practices it would genuinely help.
Can therapists become partners?
Yes, to refer colleagues and other practices. Please never promote Saywell to your own therapy clients. Keeping clinical relationships separate is part of our guidelines.
How are referrals tracked?
Through your personal link and partner code. If a practice enters your code in the claim form, it’s yours. Otherwise, a click on your link is credited to you for 60 days, and if the practice later clicks another partner’s link, the most recent click counts. If it’s still unclear, we ask the practice who introduced them, and their answer decides. Your Partners Portal shows every click, sign-up, payment and payout.
When and how do I get paid?
By Wise transfer to the bank account you nominate, in USD, within 3 business days of each payment your referral makes. The commission on their first payment is paid once their first revision round is complete. There’s no minimum payout, and Saywell covers the Wise transfer fee.
What happens if a referral misses a payment or asks for a refund?
If a practice misses a payment, the commission on it is paused until they pay. If a practice is refunded under our guarantee, the commission on that payment is reversed. Because first-payment commissions are only paid after the first revision round, when refunds no longer apply, this rarely affects money you’ve received.
Can I refer my own practice?
No. Self-referrals don’t earn commission. The program rewards introductions to other practices.
What about taxes?
You’re responsible for reporting your commissions. Your Partners Portal keeps a full record of every payout, and you can download a yearly earnings statement. If we ever need tax information from you, we’ll ask first and explain why.
Can I join from outside the US?
For the founding round, the program is open to partners based in the US. We may invite partners outside the US later.
What happens when the 25 founding spots are filled?
You keep earning on every remaining payment from the practices you referred. When a founding member renews after their 24 months, you earn 10% of their renewal year as a thank-you. And when Saywell opens new plans, you earn 20% of each new referral’s first 12 months of payments.
